Privacy policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy explains what information Prompt Distilled (“the site”, “we”) collects when you visit promptdistilled.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. The site is run by Regev, an individual based in Israel.
Information we collect
The site is a static blog. There are no accounts, comments or contact forms, and we do not ask you for personal data. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to reply.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. The site itself stores only two preferences in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme choice and, when ads are enabled, your cookie-consent choice. Neither is sent to us.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
The site may in the future show ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are active, and where required only after you consent:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe).
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's advertising policies.
Third-party ad servers may also use technologies such as web beacons to measure ad effectiveness. We do not control these cookies and have no access to the data they collect.
Your choices
- Accept or decline advertising cookies in the consent banner. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer (shown when ads are enabled).
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them.
- Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, the UK, Israel or California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Contact us to exercise them.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 (or the relevant age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
